Art thou Juliet

Welcome to my obsession with glass. All the glass I use is lead free, food safe and made in Oregon  I use different techniques and make most of my own molds.  Raking is one of the more dangerous techniques I use.  It involves layering glass in the kiln and firing it 400 degrees hotter than regular fusing.  When the glass has melted all together I then open the kiln and manipulate the molten glass.  It is dangerous and time consuming but worth the results.  I am currently working on making my own casting molds.  Stay tuned for some exciting new pieces!
